 Flatbed shipping is for the transportation of cargo that may not require the enclosure of a dry van, cannot be loaded or unloaded from a dock, or does not fit within the dimensions of standard truck trailers 

A refrigerated or “reefer” trailer. The main purpose of a reefer trailer is to maintain the temperature of freight at the time it is loaded. 

Regulating a trailer’s temperature in this way helps maintain the quality and prolong the shelf life of the freight being hauled.

 Removable gooseneck (RGN) trailers are a mode of transport that has been made to have a detachable front part making them unique from the rest of trailers. Once detached, it lowers down the trailer, which acts as the ramp making the loading and unloading process easy and fast.

 The simplest Conestoga is a trailer that provides security, protection, and versatility of loading and unloading. Conestogas are described as “Curtainside” trailers, meaning they have a retractable tarping system. 

 A dry van is a type of semi-truck trailer that is fully enclosed to protect your shipment from the elements. A dry van trailer is designed to carry palletized, boxed, or loose freight, making them a highly versatile option that is suitable for many types of products, materials, and other items. 

 Hot Shot trailers are useful, flexible, and suitable for moving equipment and machinery of all sorts. Unlike larger trailers, hotshot trailers can be used even with a pick-up truck, if the load is light enough and the truck has enough torque. The max weight capacity: 16k lbs

  A step deck trailer is designed to carry cargo that is too tall to go on a flatbed truck. A step deck truck can help you haul loads without having to obtain special permits for exceeding the legal height limit. These trailers have a lower and upper deck, hence the use of the term “step” in the name.  

  A lowboy trailer is a low platform flatbed trailer used to haul heavy, bulky and taller than normal items. They have carry capacities of 25 tons (50,000 pounds) & 35 tons (70,000 pounds). A lowboy trailer is an excellent choice for hauling construction equipment, agricultural machinery and other heavy-duty loads. 

 Hot shot trucking is a form of transport for time-sensitive LTL freight. That means the cargo is smaller or lighter, and it's on a tight deadline to be delivered. While hot shot trucking can provide cross-country equipment shipping, most hot shot transports travel through local or regional routes. The max weight capacity: 7k lbs

 Straight truck—For less-than-truck loads (LTLs) that are too big, too oddly shaped, or too heavy for the sprinter van; a straight truck for expediting usually has a 96” sleeper unit so your driving team can run straight through. The max weight capacity: 10k to 26k lbs

 Tarps are used by the truckers to secure heavy loads on the trailers and other heavy vehicles and also to protect the material from the external environment. Main function of the truck tarp is to protect the cargo from getting damaged while in transit.
